If you shop at the Tofino Co-op Food Store, you may already know Kenny David. He’s a familiar face in the aisles, ready to help with your questions.

The people behind the everyday shop

Kenny has been part of the Food Store team for two years. For him, the best part of the job is the people he works alongside. Clear communication and a shared sense of humour help make the team a comfortable place to work.

Getting to know our community

The connections extend beyond his colleagues. Working at the Co-op gives Kenny the opportunity to get to know people from the community and welcome visitors to Tofino.

Even a short stay can bring familiar faces back through the doors. Over a few days of shopping, visitors get to know the staff, and those everyday encounters become a little more personal.

It’s one of the pleasures of working in a local store: helping someone find what they need and seeing them again on their next visit.

Be sure to say hello to Kenny next time you’re at the Food Store.
