A Canada Day to Remember at Village Green

What a fantastic way to celebrate Canada Day! We were thrilled to team up with the District of Tofino and our local Volunteer Fire Department to host a community BBQ at Village Green on a beautiful, sunny day.

Familiar Faces and a Few Surprises

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, along with visitors from out of town, come together to celebrate. Mayor Dan Law shared a few words about our town's history and helped with the inaugural cut of a Canada Day themed marble cake, lovingly created by our bakery team and gone in record time. Several members of our Board of Directors and Calvin also came out to celebrate and serve the cake.

We even had a special surprise visit from our mascot, Cooper, who brought plenty of smiles (and a few high-fives!) at his very first Canada Day in Tofino.

A big thank you to our incredible firefighters for grilling and serving up burgers and Tofino Co-op hot dogs. Your hard work helped make the day a great success.

Celebrating with our community is what being a Co-op is all about. We're so grateful to be part of such a welcoming community and look forward to celebrating many more events together. Happy Canada Day!
